Yesterday Anna and I went to the Christmas market and saw real reindeer from Finland. The funny thing was that you could also buy reindeer sausages just 20 metres away.

I couldn't go back to Lithuania for the holidays after last semester because my exams were scattered through the whole holiday period. It won't happen this time as I bought my tickets yesterday. I have 9 exams from 14th July to 17th September (yes, it's more than two months for just 9 exams and I really don't like it) and on 18th September I'm flying with Lufthansa to Vilnius and will stay there until 1st October.
I was looking for tickets with Airbaltic (one of the few airlines I fly to Lithuania with) and noticed that they're showing Leipzig in the list of airports, but they don't have any connections to Vilnius. But then I thought I might look for what other airlines have to offer and found a Lufthansa flight (via Frankfurt) for just 180€ which is way cheaper than Airbaltic which would cost me at least 240€ plus about 60€ for the train tickets to Berlin and it's also quicker as the Leipzig/Halle airport is just 10 minutes away from Halle's main railway station.
I don't think I could find anything cheaper than that and also it's Lufthansa - I could never imagine flying with Lufthansa and paying for it myself and now it's probably even cheaper than going by train!
